Lorri Dresbach has released her first solo CD, “Run Into the Fire.” Written amidst a breast cancer diagnosis and radiation and chemotherapy treatments, the songs are birthed out of the many conversations with God that occurred and still occur regarding healing, deliverance and “trial by fire.” From the first song, “I Still Believe” to the last, “Forgotten How to Fly,“ Lorri expresses her faith through honest conversational lyrics that allow the listener to identify with her emotions and perhaps come to the same conclusion she did: God is always faithful. Refinement is never fun, nor is it easy, but it is necessary.
