Much love and thanks...
Much love and thanks...
This CD project is dedicated to my Aunt Emily Colleen Taylor Farmer, a kindred spirit, who fought the good fight of faith and declared her independence from cancer on July 4, 2007. Now she is a part of that great cloud of witnesses cheering from heaven. We are looking forward to the family reunion!
My independence from cancer came this side of eternity, and this CD was birthed out of the process. Although I am sure that the fire wasn’t caused by God, it was certainly used by God to heal, restore, and refine. My prayer is that this music will encourage, heal & deliver all who find themselves in a Shadrach, Meshach, & Abednigo situation, whatever it may be, knowing that you are not alone & help is on its way.
Admiration and Appreciation:
Jesus, You get all the glory. You are my hero and life apart from You is merely a cheap imitation! I am undone by the fire in Your eyes...
And since I know you always use people... a special thanks to Mom and Dad Gladney, Mom and Dad Dresbach, Denise & Mike, Natalie & Joel, “Aunt Deba,” Clay, Judd, and countless others for all your prayers, cards of encouragement, gifts of love and support during and through the process of healing.
Mom & Dad, your middle baby girl is going to be just fine - don’t worry anymore!-I love you and appreciate your continued support and prayers! I am so thankful to have you as parents. My prayer is to be as much of a blessing to you as you have been to me.
Grand Taylor, you always said I should be a “country singer.” Must have been the fringe, “creative” hair and love of sequins I have. I thank you for believing in me and encouraging me to “do anything I set my mind to.” You are one of my heros.
Tracy and Al Schellhorn and family...there aren’t words to express the depth of gratitude for walking this out with me. From the early days until now, your investment in me and my family has earned eternal rewards and multiple crowns, I’m sure. Blessings to you for believing in me when I didn’t. Thanks for keeping my family fed during treatment and for walking with me into the chemo room (and many other rooms) so many times. You gave my family such peace knowing I wasn’t going it alone. Love you all so much!
Stacey Noll, your generosity of talent and heart are kingdom gems that are priceless. Don’t ever let anyone convince you otherwise. Thanks a million although you deserve much more.
Larry Shaw, for all the blood, sweat and tears, it was worth it. Thanks for everything and I pray blessings over you and the MAS Recording Studio.
Pastor Carmen, Pastor Brown and all associated with your ministries... your prayers truly touch heaven and change earth. You are a kingdom blessing and will reap a bountiful harvest for what you sow.
Ortega bunch, thank you so much for prayers, cards and gifts! I am continually touched by your generosity. Nette, you have made encouragement an art form.
Friends at Asbury, particularly the Sandie Savage network, thank you so much for keeping our family before the throne of grace - Ipray4u2!
Nicole, my workout buddy, thanks for your patience and understanding when I couldn’t lift a finger. I love my superman shirt - and all the goodies along the way. Coffee talk is so much more fun than running!
To my precious husband - usually I have words, but now they seem to escape me. I hope you know the song I sing isn’t complete without you. I see Jesus in you in so many ways - servant, father, friend, husband - and look forward to many more years of co-writing this life.
Dustin and Dakota - young men of God with such destiny. Don’t ever let anyone tell you dreams don’t come true. God is the God of dreams, visions and miracles. Always follow the dream-giver and you will not be disappointed with this life - nor the life to come. Glad to be here to see you fulfill those dreams. Love you bigger than life.
In Christ,
Lorri
